ichiryuu goes to meet midora

I just realized Ichiryuu was messing with Midora's atoms towards the end . And Ichiryuu is first to go all out, it seems, which is indication of Midora winning. .. It is also interesting that Toriko should reach full power only upon. When Ichiryu comes to visit Midora in the Gourmet World, Kuromado prepares . As Ichiryu says that he will meet Midora in the next world, Ichiryu was attacked. Toriko is an anime series adapted from the manga of the same title by Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro The second opening theme, used from episode 99 to episode , is Go Shock My Way!! . once in every ten years, Toriko and Komatsu go to meet the chefs that prepare its meat. Ichiryuu vs. the Bishokukai's Midora!".

Surprisingly Midora protected his "big brother's" body from the Nitro's attempt to eat it. He then carefully picked up his brother's body in his arms and realized that Ichiryu was never aiming to kill him, showing that their familial bond was still indeed intact.

He then respectfully acknowledged Ichiryu's desire to always follow his ideals and that he was the only true gallant man in a crude world. He then promised to return his body to a place they both memorably cherished, which is most likely the place they once shared meals at, also known as Food Immersion Cape. Jiro Edit In their youth, Jiro and Midora were in good terms with each other despite Jiro's constant teasing of Midora.

Their relationship as brothers can be seen mostly as sibling rivalry of sorts as while Jiro accepts Midora as his younger brother, he didn't seem to fully approve of Midora as Midora seemed to be lackluster in terms of capabilities, going as far as to question why Acacia named Midora after a tiger. Despite this however, Midora grew to respect Jiro, especially when both Ichiryu and Jiro became fully fledged Gourmet Hunters and titled as World's Strongest.

Jiro also began to respect his own brother. During Froese's death, Jiro is the one to discover Froese in Midora's arms as Midora explains how he attempted to help their foster mother get better. While Jiro never blamed Midora for the death of their foster mother, the two never spoke ever since Midora ran off from Froese's funeral to gather up Cure Water. When Midora eventually fell into a darker emotion, the two had almost no interaction with each other since then.

At best, they are never seen anywhere near each. Midora kept his distance from Jiro even till the present day. While the two never saw each other since Froese's passing, Jiro still knew that deep down Midora still held their memories as a family within him. Jiro understood Midora's feelings even though they never saw each other for hundreds of years. When Jiro was confronted by Acacia, who was influenced heavily by Neo, Jiro also showed that he too held their past as a family within him, much like Midora.

Jiro even went as far as to warn Acacia not to tell Midora that all of it was fake, showing that while Jiro never saw Midora since then, he fully understood how Midora feels about their past as a family. Although little has been seen of his combat abilities he is apparently extraordinarily strong, as very few can stand his equal in battle.

This puts him on the same level as fellow Acacia-apprentices Ichiryu and "Knocking Master" Jiro, forming a trio recognized as the three strongest people in the world. Like Jiro and Ichiryu, he was able to scare a Surprise Apple into the 90 level range, a feat stated to normally take something as shocking as a meteor striking the planet.

Even as a child, he had astounding survival skills and instincts, surviving starvation for many years on his own. Midora's physical prowess is immense under every aspect. His speed, strength, reactions, stamina and durability are top-notch.

For example, he withstood many of Ichiryu's powerful techniques while defenseless due to Minority World without suffering major injuries; when most of his organs stopped working, he still managed to stab his own chest to damage his heart, showcasing also a more than impressive tolerance to pain. He was left undamaged by attacks carried out by Zaus and Joie, the latter of which is one of the most powerful human fighters in the world, which vouches for an extreme level of durability; on the same occasion, he managed to land eight lethal blows on the Dark Chef in the span of 0.

He is also immune to Mohyan Shaishai 's techniques. After eating most of the Planetary Full Course, Midora reached immense power, fighting on par with Acacia who at the time, had already eaten his entire Full Course and his revived Demon. He was so powerful that mere explosions from his punches were the size of a large planet. It is likely, considering his long lifespan and ravenous appetite, that Midora has been evolving his cells at a brisk pace for many years.

His appetite is unparalleled, even among individuals enhanced with Gourmet Cells, to the point that an entire island of bones and food waste actually accumulated under a Gourmet Corp. A Mysterious Life Form Appears! Nazo no Seibutsu Arawaru! What is this new menace, and what does it want? The Truth of the Gourmet World! Meanwhile, Komatsu is shocked by an unexpected visitor! For example, if there are 10, atoms, then only of them will flout the laws of physics. In cases of humans, there are literally zillions of atoms so the square root 'misbehaviour' is SO minor that it doesn't even matter. However, Ichiryuu can perceive and control that small number of atoms.

Using those atoms, he can defy laws of physics like gravity. But even more so, he can perceive the minor 'mistakes' being made by others and can even amplify them. For example, he amplified and saw through Midora's atoms' mistakes so that Midora kept missing and Ichiryuu didn't even have to dodge anymore.

In a way, Ichiryuu's ability is something that violates all laws. On the other hand, did anyone notice that Midora 'ate' Ichiryuu's chopsticks with the Tongue-Shield? Despite Ichiryuu's dominance, Midora seemed unshaken with the whole exchange.

I'm assuming that Midora will reveal a full mastery of his gourmet cells, to the point that even his atoms are forced to 'behave' themselves. This will end up in a showdown between an ability that violates laws Ichiryuu vs a strength that violates all laws Midora. As of yet, I don't know of any practical application of this.

This is more of an observed phenomenon than something that is even knowable. Also note that isolating a small collection of atoms is extremely hard. For example, just 1 gram of Hydrogen gas contains 6. That's more atoms than visible stars, so you can imagine that actually studying the square root law on a practical level is extremely hard because even in relatively small quantities we cannot really observe atoms on an individual basis.

And then of course we have quantum spins and heisenberg principle on top of it all that makes direct observation all but impossible. I think that is part of why the author used this law - there would be no way for anyone to replicate or compete with an ability like Ichiryuus - it is truly one of a kind and something that would be impossible to copy or counter normally.

Well fitting for the man considered the representative of 'humanity' as a whole. Another interesting note - Ichiryuu said, his 'minority' atoms have been gaining influence and will eventually change the whole world.

Ichiryuu is a proponent of 'sharing' while Midora is all about 'consuming'. If you think about it, Ichiryuu's view on a personal level is a minority in the gourmet age where everything and everyone is all about 'consumption'.

I think his point is that through the IGO, and the 4 heavenly kings his 'minority' view is going to gain prominence instead of consumption which is what happened when 'God' first appeared years ago to end the wars. Pimp of Pimps Personally, it seems to me like Ichiryuu is overall stranger and Midora will either win using some sort of underhanded tactic or reveal some sort of trump card.

Or that's how I want it to go down, at least. V You and z really want midora to win with some cheap move Y That aside Ichi is a real monster affecting Atoms while just beeing there, no pinpointing what they are supposed to do He seems pretty calm after Ichiryuu hit him so he must still have an ace in the hole. At least an AE attack should be used.

ichiryuu goes to meet midora

Midora's tongue power seems to be on par with Ichiryuu's chopsticks in the sense that either one can counter each other. At the end things seem to be going in Ichiryuu's favor based on the power he shown. I presume things will turn around in Midora's favor once he shows his power. If Midora will win by cheating. Too soon to say. Also anyone reminded of Terra Formars with the citation after the scientific explanation?

He seems pretty calm after Ichiryuu hit him. Of course he's calm. He's Midora, a centuries old veteran of the Gourmet World and disciple of Acacia himself. He's not going to lose his cool just cause this are going a little sour.

Regardless of how Midora will beat Ichiryuu, things are going badly for Midora right now. Is a Gorumet world veteran, hundreds of years old and is in the world strongest. She was worried from the get go about Joa's attack and after despite avoiding most of the damage.

I do not get the vibe that things are going too bad for Midora based on his reaction. I already mentioned that things are going in Ichiryuu's favor at the moment but also mentioned that Midora is likely to turn things around so I don't think the fight is going bad for him. Ichiryuu is just starting to use his real abilities and Midora is still hiding his.

What we have seen so far is inconclusive and inconsequential. Setsuno was worried about all the people around her she knew Joa could crush like grapes, she didn't lose her calm because of her fear for her own personal safety. Toriko barely had a reaction when Tommy took his arm off, were things not going badly for Toriko then?

By your logic things were going fine for Whitebeard after Akainu melted his face off. Confident people don't lose their calm just things turn a little sour.

Episode 97

Saying things aren't going bad for Midora because he appears mostly calm is flawed because someone like him is usually going to stay calm even if he's in a tough spot. How does what will happen later change what's happening now? If things are going bad for Midora they are going bad for him regardless of whether or not he'll tun them around later.

In that things aren't going for him at this particular moment? Midora might very well turn things around and make Ichiryuu look like a child later on, still doesn't change the fact that he was not doing so hot this chapter. Setsuno was worried about herself as well. Remember that when Jirou showed up to save her that she relaxed. Besides that is different than Midora's cool indifference. Whitebeard had a pained expression as indicated by his shaking, hardly comprable to Midora's calm and indifference expression after being hit.

Becasue going badly implies he is in danger or something similar. Right now what Ichiryuu's power does not seem to concerning. Obviously she was worried about herself, keeping your cool is different from being unconcerned for your own safety.

You're going all over the place with your arguments. His eyes widened for a bit and that's about it. That's not losing you're calm.
